These are Chinese PJs that were handed down to us from Harrison (from Great Grandfather Ashler's travels) that he had kept for years but the boys (Phil and Harry)had never worn. It is a little big on Emma but she is having fun sleeping in it. Thanks Poppa!

Funny face.

While Max likes the coziness of his car seat, he seems to get a wee bit upset when we have to use the seatbelt. (go figure) He is starting to have new facial expressions everyday.

Finally....

We have birds at our bird feeder!! A cardinal. (look very closely) We purchased this feeder AT LEAST 6 months ago and the first entire bag of feed went to the local squirrels, but no bird in site. Slightly bummed, we just left it empty for a few months. Phil & Emma decided to fill it again the other day and now we have seen at least 2 cardinals.

Maxwell Joseph Ashler

Max joined the Ashler family on January 29, 2010 at 8:34 PM; all 10 pounds and 22 inches of him. This first photo was taken while we were at Winnie Palmer Hospital.

Gymnastics.

Emma has started a gymnastics class at the local park & rec center near our home. Every Monday afternoon you can find Emma burning some energy with 3 other 3-4 year olds. It is an entertaining 40 minutes, to say the least.

Disney Marathon.

We headed out to watch Jill run the Disney Marathon a few weeks ago. It was cold for us Floridians...the high was only in the 40's that day...if I remember correctly. Emma did pretty well waiting at the finish line to see her cousin. (I think she was more interested in spotting all the Disney characters. ) Emma had the best seat.

Holiday Times

After our first christmas celebration, we were able to enjoy another day of festivities with Nanny. She came down from Destin a few days after Christmas to see us.
