Max Video 13 weeks.

I made this video about 2 weeks with our laptop camera. Please excuse the time delays in the video. The footage is not super exciting but we hope you enjoy.

"Now that I am 4...."

So Emma's new mantra, "Now that I am 4...." She feels most things in life are happening now because she has turned 4. For example....her first library card!! Does it get more exciting than that?

Emma turns 4!!!

Wow! Emma is 4. Here are a few pics of her Bday. When I took the pic of her with her Birthday headband...I thought she was smiling. Oops.

Emma loved all her gifts. The brown bag pic is actually a variety of wildflowers...that we just recently planted last week. We will keep you updated. The big pink headband from Aunt Jen was a great addition to her hair accessories basket. It holds her hair great! The blue glasses were part of her Doctor Kit.

Emma, the good patient.

About 2 weeks ago, Emma had to have a 3rd (and hopefully) last surgery on her ears. This procedure was to have her second set of tubes removed due to some problems she was having with the left one. She has recovered well since then. She took her 10 days of antibiotics and ear drops like a champ. NOW, the hardest part is going to keep her ears dry until her follow up appointment in another 2 weeks. Luckily her plugs have been working well. Swimming on hold for now but our fingers are crossed.

We went to Dolores' a few Saturdays ago. Emma and I (Phil was working baseball) enjoyed hanging out with her and taking a dip in the pool. It was in the 90s that weekend, so this was a great activity for the day. Emma is now going under the water and starting to work a little on the "swimming." We had a great time and I had a very tired little girl after that. Thanks Dolores!

Ella comes to orlando.

This post is a little late. Angela and Ella came to visit us in Orlando (while they were in Winter Haven for a little vacation), just after the babies were born. We met them at a mall in Orlando and ate lunch. I don't think Max and Ella were as excited as Angela and I.

Emma has found my old sethoscopes and likes to go around the house listening to our heart sounds. Her first lesson was learning where to listen.
