Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party.

Thanks to Dolores, we had a chance to go to Disney for a Halloween event. Yes, it is a little early but we had fun dressing up for the night. The park was opened up Saturday night from 7-12 for the 'party.' (Phil was in Kansas)

Emma-the Cowgirl. Max-the Lion.
Because the crowd was smaller than the usual Disney crowds, the lines for the rides were much smaller. Max rode the carosel and loved it. Emma enjoyed rides, the parade, fireworks and a little trick or treating.

Max and his GGMom.

We took a quick trip to see GGMom a few days ago. Max enjoyed playing and grabbing for all the things he wasn't suppose to.

PreGame warm up.

Phil traveled to Buffalo, NY last weekend for the UCF/Buffalo game but kickoff was not until 8pm. They killed a little time by driving up to Niagra Falls. He took a few shots with his phone.

Mr. Owl & the park.

Emma, Max and I found our way to a little "Get Fit" festival in Winter Park, Fl. the other day and she was able to meet an owl. There was also a 2 toed tree sloth but I miss that photo op.

Later we came across a new park on our way home. Yippee!

Max took his first official swing ride and he LOVED it!!! Of course Emma wanted to be his pusher and she got some pretty good laughs out of him. I wish I would have had the video camera rolling.

Random shots.

Just thought I would post these random pics of the kids.

Happy Birthday Aunt Wendy!

Recently, Aunt Wendy had her birthday party in Orlando. We enjoyed some time with Phil's family and Emma of course loved the chance to get into a pool. Max was not so fond of the pool water.

He was smiling...I promise.

So the first photo may appear to be a look into some unique parenting skills...however, photo #2 reveals that Max was having a good time too. He would giggle every time the basket came up and he saw Phil sitting there.

Ashler Men to Orlando.

We had Harrison and Harrison, Jr to visit us about a week ago. The kids had a good time with their Poppa and Uncle Harrison.

Good morning.

Max usually starts to talk before 'officially' getting up with all of us. The other morning, after I heard him chatting for awhile, I heard Emma's voice in his room. I walked in and found her in his crib. They were having a grand ol' time. Will this become a morning ritual? Hmmmm.

On the move.

Max is officially in motion. He is starting to get around a little more everyday. Emma, Max and I were all in Emma's room the other day and Emma decided she needed to move all her books off the bottom shelf so Max could not get them. She was not especially fond of his 'tasting' all her books.

"But I am not a real cheerleader."

This a little story to go along with the cheerleading pics. 2 days before the game Emma informed me that she was not going to wear her cheerleading outfit to the game. (After she had talked about it all the time) I asked her why and she stated she was afraid that Knightro would think she was a real cheerleader and try to come up to her. (yes, she still fears the mascot) I calmed her fears that Phil would go and talk to Knightro so he would mistake her for a real cheerleader. She agreed to that and made sure she talked with Phil about it when he got home from work that night. Needless to say, she provided her parents with a good chuckle after she was in bed.

Season #3.

Pre game.

UCF started football this past weekend with a home opener against S. Dakota. This season Emma has her first cheerleading outfit. It was a 6pm game and thankfully we were out of the sun most of the game. Max stayed home and chilled out in the AC. Emma is much more aware this year that it is football season (that is why daddy works more lately) and that we should go to some of the games...a few home games should be just enough for this cheerleader.
