Saucey.

We dusted off the exer-saucer for Max. I cannot believe he is already big enough for it.

Emma was very excited to show him how everything worked.

Put me in coach...

Since Max is growing out of his clothes, I was going through some stuff we got before he was born. We (Emma and I) came across this outfit and we had fun playing dress up with him.

Who is that?

"Who is that cool kid??"

Beat the Heat.

Heat index 102, hello summer. The wild sprinkler has resurfaced this summer. We usually don't run it too long but it gives Emma a chance to cool off and burn some energy. There is actually more time spent getting ready for it than actually playing in it.

Emma and I were out for a bike ride the other evening and we came across this wonderful oasis. Emma rode her Dora BigWheels through it a few times and then decided running would be more excited. My initial felling toward this house was, "Argh. Why are they running sprinklers now? Wasteful," however, it was fun to watch her.

So Zen...

So now I know why the yoga pose is called "Happy Baby." (trust me, google it) This is one of Max's favorite moves. He is lovin' the feet right now.

Emma's first dental visit.

So I had procrastinated a little with Emma's first dental exam but we finally made it there a few days ago. She did pretty well. A few melt downs but the hygienists was wonderful with her. The dentist said everything looks good! Emma would only allow her to polish her front 4-6 teeth.

Emma's Ear Update.

These pictures have nothing to do with this text but I thought I would just add a few more pics of the kids.

Emma went to see our fav ENT on Tuesday and he cleared her to swim without plugs. Yeah!! Her right ear (that had the patch) has healed great. The left ear still has a hole but no infection. We will return in month to have it assessed again...keeping our fingerscrossed.

Emma's first Stat job.

Since it is getting hotter down here we have found a few activities to do inside during the really hot afternoon hrs...especially with Emma's water restriction. She has recently become interested in shooting the basketball or being the cheerleader. We take turns in each role. (yes, just imagine) This particular day we set up "the crowd" with her and her "friends. " The border of the crowd is her old crib bumper...not quite sure how that all came about. She wanted me to shoot and she would cheer. Then I got her to start counting my shots...this lead into her first stat keeping job.

The single line=miss, the +=good shot. Yeah, yeah, yeah...I didn't do so well...that's not the point. Then I had to keep track of hers.

4 months...already!!!

Max is now 4 months old. Time flies when you are having fun!! He had his well child check up and received a good report from the doctor. He is 16 and half pounds and 27 and half inches long. He is more alert everyday and loves to watch his big sister. He has been squeaking for a few weeks but he really found his voice this past weekend and now he is nonstop. Something between a squeak and squeal.

Puzzle Time.

Emma received this really cool puzzle (the pieces are huge) for her birthday. Thanks Nolan, Aunt Jennifer and Uncle Greg. This project has come in very handy on our rainy days. Wherever there is a hard surface in the house, Emma has assembled the puzzle on it.
