7 months.
Meeting new friends.
Max met another 'lady friend' in our neighborhood. This is Ruby (8mo) and she lives across the street. This is our first official "Max and Ruby" picture. (For those of you who know the cartoon.)

Patriotic Emma strikes again.
Check out Emma learning a new song. They have started to introduce this one at school. Phil found some different versions of it on You Tube and now she likes to watch them and sing along. Needless to say it is a work in progress.

6 month update.
OK. No photos...sorry. Max survived his 6 month well child check up today. He is 18 1/2 pounds and 28 1/2 inches. Needless to say he is wearing 9-12 month clothing and has a hearty appetite. Luckily he is also getting stronger and sturdier everyday so that he can handle Emma's lovin' (she gets a little excited sometimes around him.....still). Time flies when you are having fun!!!!

Max meets squash.
Max has met squash...and conquered it. Since this posting, he has also taken on peas and was victorious. Let's keep our fingers crossed that his palate remains open to these yummy vegetables. Emma got very excited to see him eating and wanted in the action. Bon Appetit!! (These photos were taken with my phone...hence the quality)Tuesday, July 20, 2010
It can be done.

There is hope that Max will not have the same hair do his entire life...thanks to our neighbor John. John, his wife and their FIVE (that is not a type-o) kids were sweet enough the other night to watch Emma and Max while Phil and I went to dinner. Apparently Max's hair was a source of entertainment (along with the 6 other children in the house.) Ha!

The Do.
So I have had a few questions about Max's hair. The answer is "no," we have not cut his hair and I have not tried to comb it over. IT JUST LAYS THAT WAY. Cracks me up. I try to mess it up and I can't!! I think he is channeling his inner 'evening news anchor' personality. The other update...The SECOND bottom tooth has appeared (right lower central incisor).
