New Years Day.

I am assuming the New Year hat picture is self explanatory. I attempted to create a New Years meal with two different traditions; ham, cabbage and black eyed peas. Max even liked the black eyed peas!! Introduced Emma to a modified version of Cornhole and Sticky Ball. (Mimi's inner PE teacher resurfaced.)

Group Shot.

A few group shots that did not get added to the holiday pictures. Four generations of Hetherington-Greenwell-Ashler ladies. Our Christmas Eve crew attempted a shot with a self timed camera skilfully balanced on the TV stand. The last picture is the most recent picture of the four of us, of course getting that kodak moment wasn't all that easy.

Christmas in Review.

Here is a group of pictures that we took around holiday time. We enjoyed much company and plenty of good food. Emma had a milestone moment this year, she over came her fear of Santa. She did not sit on his lap but she stood in front of him and talked to him (with the agreement that I would stay close by.) We enjoyed visits from Mimi, Papaw, GGMom, Nanny and Grandpa. On Christmas Eve we went to Downtown Disney with Mimi, Papaw and GGMom, that is why you see Emma in front of a bright pink fountain and a Woody made of LEGOs. A few of our activities were the annual "Snack" mix (also known as Christmas Chex Mix)making, a puzzle (of course), Emma got a few new crafts for Christmas and Max had more boxes to climb in and chew on than he knew what to do with.

Christmas Here We Come...

(Yes, these are a little late) Here are a few pics of Emma decorating the tree. A nice change this year, she did almost all the ornament aranging herself.

Creepin' Max.

Max is creepin' and cruisin' around the house with a little help from Dora. (This is the Dora car the was given to Emma for her FIRST birthday.) As you can see, his steering still leaves a bit to be desired so we have to redirect him. It is so fun to watch him get excited about this new adventure. (not quite sure what Emma was working on but it involved rearranging the dining room chairs)

BBall has arrived.

Although UCF has been successful in football and still have one game left, The Liberty Bowl on New Year's Eve, our house has moved onto basketball.

November in review.

November seemed to fly by. Not too many photos taken and lacking on the blog posts but we were too busy having fun!
