Indiana Voyage

We started our trip on Friday morning (9/19/08). Emma is a big girl now and has her own seat. She was a good traveler and luckily we had a few kids sitting around us to entertain her. She met "baby" about half way through the flight. (What a great distraction.) Emma and baby were then inseparable for the rest our trip. "Baby" came with a VERY cool backpack, hair comb, juice bottle and socks...who wouldn't want to hang out with her 24/7?
We were welcomed at the Indianapolis airport by Mimi, Papaw and Grandma Greenwell. We were then expected at our first gathering. We met our cousins, Sarah and her daughter Leah, for lunch at a Chick Fil A. In the picture above is Emma joined by her Grandma Greenwell and Leah. Leah is an older and wiser 3 1/2 year old. She showed Emma how to REALLY play on the playground.
After we made it home from our lunch gathering, Mimi and Papaw took us to see Lake Monroe and play on the cool playground. (That's right... TWO playgrounds in one day)
While I enjoyed the serene surroundings...Emma was really into all the rocks on the ground.
Chillin' with Doc.
