Emma's salon.

One night before bedtime Emma and I had some fun with a new hair do. Her hair was damp so we came up with modified pin curls.

The results the next morning...CURLS!!! All we did was remove the hair ties and voila'.

Emma surprised us with this one. (Pardon the whack hair, she just got out of the bathtub)

Spring Day.

Emma, Mimi and I all went to the Dr. Phillip's Water park. We were excited to see the temperature rise to 80 today but the water was still a little CHILLY.

We met Reagan and Kristen at the park also.

Hat Girl.

Sunday we decided to try out our first UCF baseball game. Emma has never been a big fan of wearing hats but she was willing to give it a shot that day. Of course the color of the hat helped sway her decision...i am sure of that.

Pink hat, pink flip flops.

Game face. (We only made it through 2 innings..then we were ready for a nap)

MJ's with Mimi.

Emma and I took Mimi to Monkey Joe's one day so she could see what all the excitement was about.

Emma finally conquered the BIG slide. She learned how to walk up these stairs all by herself. yeah!!

All smiles at the bottom of the slide.

Park Time.

Big Girl Swing!! Emma has learned how to pump her legs "back and forth" to get herself moving on the swing. FUN!!!
We visited a new park with Baby Reagan and her mom Kristen. Reagan just turned a year old and is cruising around really well. Emma loves to look after Reagan.

Big Hug!!! (The moms quickly intervened after this photo.) Emma still is learning a little self control when it comes to hugging babies. No one was harmed, we promise.
Thanks Kristen for taking all these photos.

P'Cola.

We headed back to Pensacola this past weekend (2/7/09) and stayed with Harrison (Papa) for the weekend. Although it takes us about 7 hours to get there...it was worth it.

Emma loves her bubbles. (yes that is a Styrofoam crown...gotta love the walmart craft aisle)

We spent Sunday visiting with the Stewart Clan. Emma meeting her cousin Cali for the first time. I think I counted 14 of us there.

The new generation. Emma, Cali, Chloe and Julia (being held by Joana). No boys yet.

The blog is usually dominated with Emma but i couldn't help myself. These are some great friends of mine. (Cari, Me, Sarah and Jessica.) Cari and I drove into town to run the Pensacola Double Bridge Run with Sarah. Jessica, her husband Chris and their 5 month old daughter were our awesome cheerleaders. I met these ladies while I was at USF (96-98).

Pensacola Bay at Sunrise. We headed home EARLY Monday morning. (random photo from the car)
