We received quite a bit of rain this past week. The news stories went from fires to floods. Emma and I enjoyed a few afternoons in the rain. She got to bust out the Dora umbrella (it had started to collect dust).
She initially thought she needed her jacket (see above) but quickly realized she would rather be in her bathing suit.
Found some great water to run through. The "zero lot line straight away."
Oops. She was a bit stunned by this fall but quickly got up and started running down the water straight away again.
Emma received a 'mystery' packet of seeds from a classmate a few months ago and we planted them. We REALLY tried to water them everyday (ok, maybe every other day...ok maybe every 2 days) but sometimes we were a little forgetful. Therefore, just before the rains last week,the flowers looked a little brown and wilted. Thanks to mother nature and 5 days of constant downpour, our flowers were saved.
